This product does what it claims it can do. I live in an area with high lightning activity. It saved my router without doubt. Had an alectrical storm and the lightning hit my telephone line. It ran all the way to my protector which saved me from buying another router.
One of the downsides to it is the price. But if you think of what a router cost these days its worth it.
The other is that I didnt know it had fused after the storm. There is a light that tells you as long as it is shining, you are protected. Mine was always shining. Even after it fused. its possible that that light is only indicating the plug’s safety and not the line.
Either way. This product is really good. I have bought a second one after the storm to replace the old.

No disturbances in power to connected appliances. No disturbances on Phone line.
Have not experienced any power surge conditions, so can’t really comment on it’s effectiveness.
